Calling all young artists! The LGDA is thrilled to announce the return of the T-Shirt Design Contest for 2025! If you're under 18 and love to draw, paint, or create digital art, this is your chance to showcase your talent while supporting vital research for Complex Lymphatic Anomalies (CLAs).
Why Participate?
This isn’t just about creating a T-shirt design—it’s about making an impact. Your artwork will help raise awareness, support crucial research, and bring the CLA community together. The winning design will be featured on T-shirts, available for purchase. Plus, for those outside the U.S. or looking for more flexibility, a digital version will be offered as a downloadable file in exchange for a donation, allowing supporters to print it on their choice of merchandise.
This Year’s Theme: "Future Cures: Inspiring Young Minds in Research"
We want young artists to imagine themselves as the next generation of scientists, doctors, and researchers who will unlock new treatments and cures for CLAs.
Design Inspiration:
- Pioneers of Tomorrow: Emphasize the leading scientists and researchers of tomorrow.
- Tools of Discovery: Focus on the tools and technologies that future researchers might use.
- Educational Pathways in Science: Promote the importance of education as a foundation for medical research.
- Global Collaboration for Health: Underline the global and collaborative effort required in medical research.
Who Can Enter?
Anyone up to the age of 18 can submit a design! There are two age categories:
- Up to 12 years old – Fun, bold, and colorful designs celebrating teamwork and research.
- 13 to 18 years old – More detailed and inspiring designs showcasing collaboration between patients, families, and researchers.
Whether you’re a CLA patient, a family member, or a supporter, we welcome you to join in!
How to Submit Your Design
- Create a design (maximum size: 8" x 11").
- Upload your artwork via our Google Form: Submit Your Design Here
What Will Winners Receive?
- Special recognition and a prize!
