Join Us in Philadelphia – June 13th
Do you live in Philadelphia, enjoy cycling, and are free on June 13th?
The Million Dollar Bike Ride is your chance to be part of something meaningful — a community coming together to fund research for complex lymphatic anomalies.
Can you help us raise $30,000 to support the next Alfie Milne Young Investigator Award?
There are four ways to participate, so everyone can get involved in a way that suits them.
1. Ride In Person
Experience the energy of the official MDBR event in Philadelphia.
How to Register:
- Go here to register,
- Select: In-Person Cyclist (Fundraising Optional)
- Pay the registration fee: $85
- Opt out of fundraising using the UPenn platform (you can create your fundraising page after registration on the LGDA website)
- Choose LGDA/LMI Riders for Research as who you are riding for
- Select your distance:
- 10 miles
- 32 miles
- 50 miles
- 70 miles
Important Notes:
- You can choose to pick up your rider number for free before June 13th or:
- Collect on the day for an additional $10 fee
- OR collect for free from the LGDA team on the day (drop us an email and we will collect on your behalf)
2. Ride Virtually
Can’t make it to Philadelphia? You can still be part of MDBR.
- Registration is free
- Follow the same registration process as above
- Choose virtual ride
- Ride wherever you are, whenever it suits you
3. Walk the Million Dollar Mile
Not a cyclist? Join the Million Dollar Mile — perfect for families and supporters of all ages.
- Registration: $15
- Sign up through the same registration link
- Walk starts at 8:00 AM (after cyclists depart)
- Route is closed to traffic for safety
Important:
- Children and adults must register separately
- All children must be accompanied by an adult
- Open to walkers, strollers, and adaptive mobility equipment
- No bicycles or scooters permitted
4. Volunteer
Be part of the event behind the scenes.
- Registration is free
- Sign up through the same registration link
- Choose your preferred time and location on the course
Volunteers play a vital role in making the event a success.
