One Ride. Many Ways to Make an Impact for CLA Research

The Million Dollar Bike Ride (MDBR) is back, and our community is coming together once again to fund research for complex lymphatic anomalies (CLAs).

The Million Dollar Bike Ride, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania Orphan Disease Center, unites rare disease communities from around the world. Each team raises funds for their condition—and every dollar is matched, doubling the impact for research.

Since 2015, LGDA, LGDA Europe, and the Lymphatic Malformation Institute have partnered through MDBR to advance research for rare lymphatic conditions. Together, our community has raised nearly $1 million—fueling progress toward better diagnosis, treatments, and outcomes.

More Than a Ride

While the ride takes place in Philadelphia, MDBR is a global effort. You can participate from anywhere and still make a meaningful impact.

Investing in the Future

Funds raised support the Alfie Milne Young Investigator Award, a $25,000 grant that empowers early-career scientists to pursue innovative research in lymphatic disease.

By supporting young investigators, we are helping drive the next generation of discoveries.Ways to Get Involved
